About Cheryl
Cheryl Kirsch is an artist, author, and teacher. She currently resides in North Huntingdon, PA, where she is pursuing her assorted dreams. She shares her home with her family and three cats.
She has experimented with many art styles, including oil painting, acrylics, and macramé, but her recent work is primarily watercolor, collage, and painting on silk. She loves bright, bold colors and strong lines and shapes, and these are the main characteristics that dominate her paintings. She creates unique textures using pouring techniques and a variety of materials. Collage enables her to create effects not possible in traditional painting.
She gets inspiration for her work from nature, dreams, her inner spiritual life, and her personal relationship with the angels. Her favorite subjects include cats, flowers, animals, and angels. She also has a collection of angels, which influenced her work, and she has visualized her beliefs in spiritual landscapes.
She has been fortunate to have many gifted teachers, who shared their wisdom and encouragement. She sees her journey through the world of art as an exciting adventure, and she hopes to share this joy with others.
